Olympus Partners with First Nation Group to Supply Federal Hospitals

By partnering with First Nation Group, a service-disabled veteran-owned small business, Olympus aims to meet federally mandated procurement goals.

The partnership, which took effect May 1, 2026, authorizes First Nation Group to distribute a wide range of Olympus capital equipment and single-use devices. These technologies cover specialties including gastroenterology, urology, respiratory, and general surgery. Beyond the VA and DoD, the supply chain will also extend to the Indian Health Service and the National Institutes of Health.

Chad Phillips, VP of Government and Tender Management at Olympus, noted that the collaboration leverages First Nation Group’s reputation for service to improve outcomes for veterans and active-duty personnel. Kennedy Nilsson, CEO of First Nation Group, added that the deal aligns with the company’s mission of providing medical solutions to those who have served the country. This arrangement combines Olympus’s global medical device portfolio with the logistics network of a distributor that has operated since 1992 and manages over 155,000 square feet of warehouse capacity.
