Luxshare Precision Sets New 2030 Sustainability Benchmarks

After hitting its 2025 sustainability milestones, Luxshare Precision has unveiled a new roadmap extending through 2030, targeting deeper carbon reductions and expanded supply chain oversight. The company’s latest report outlines a shift from foundational ESG governance to aggressive operational decarbonization and enhanced labor protections across its global network.

The company’s recent performance shows a 25% drop in absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions compared to 2022, bolstered by a 64% reliance on clean energy sources. This progress earned the firm an A rating in the CDP Climate Change questionnaire for the second year running. Its carbon strategy now aligns with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), aiming for total neutrality by 2050 through strict adherence to a 1.5°C warming pathway.

Governance remains anchored by a board with 37.5% independent and female representation, a structure designed to ensure oversight of both internal operations and a vast supplier network. During the last reporting cycle, the company audited 1,815 suppliers, identifying and resolving over 2,300 risk-related issues. All raw material suppliers are now subject to mandatory CSR assessments, while the firm maintains full traceability for 3TG minerals through RMAP-conformant smelters.

Beyond environmental metrics, the company reports a 11% year-on-year decline in workplace injury rates, supported by a network of 60 labor unions. CEO Grace Wang emphasized that these initiatives are no longer peripheral to the business model but are integrated into product lifecycles, ranging from electric vehicle components to industrial automation. By embedding sustainability into its product design and supply chain, Luxshare aims to maintain competitive access to international markets while meeting increasingly stringent global transparency standards.
