LUDWIG+ Appoints Kevin Pease as Chief Creative Officer

As artificial intelligence begins to homogenize advertising content, Royal Oak-based agency LUDWIG+ has tapped veteran creative Kevin Pease to lead its efforts in building brand distinction. Pease joins the woman-owned firm to expand its proprietary 'InsideOut' framework, aiming to prioritize core brand identity over ephemeral consumer trends.

Pease arrives at LUDWIG+ following a tenure in Australia, where he held senior roles at The Royals and Thinkerbell. His portfolio includes international accolades such as gold honors at the London International Awards and recognition at Cannes YDA. Known for an 'idea-first' philosophy, he advocates for creative work that earns attention organically rather than relying solely on paid media placements.

Barbara Yolles Ludwig, founder and CEO, described the appointment as a strategic move to elevate the agency’s creative output beyond its Detroit roots. For his part, Pease views the agency's internal methodology as a necessary bulwark against the flattening effect of AI-generated content. The agency continues to gain industry traction, having recently been named Small Agency of the Year at the 2026 ANA B2 Awards.
