Connell brings a background rooted in both military service and high-level financial planning. Before entering the wealth management industry in 2020, he served eight years as an infantry officer, including a tenure with the 75th Ranger Regiment. His transition to independence follows a rapid ascent in the financial sector, highlighted by his recognition as one of the 2025 Forbes Best-in-State Next-Gen Wealth Advisors, where he ranked 76th in New York.
Jon Connell Joins Seven Bridges to Launch Saratoga Springs Office
Jon Connell, a former Edward Jones advisor overseeing $165 million in client assets, has transitioned to independent firm Seven Bridges Wealth Advisors. The move marks a strategic expansion for Seven Bridges, which is opening a new location in Saratoga Springs, New York, under Connell’s leadership as Managing Director.

Max DiSesa, Managing Partner at Seven Bridges, noted that the firm sought to recruit Connell for his combination of professional rigor and client-focused values. The new Saratoga Springs office will mirror the firm’s existing family-office model, focusing on complex needs such as multi-generational estate planning, tax optimization, and alternative investments. Connell, who holds CFP, CPWA, and WMCP designations, cited the desire for a more personalized, institutional-grade service platform as the primary driver for his move. This expansion continues the firm's growth across the Hudson Valley and beyond, as it looks to scale its high-touch advisory services into new regional markets.
