Tecsys Gains HHS Sponsorship for FedRAMP Security Certification

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has cleared the path for Tecsys to achieve FedRAMP Class C certification, officially designating the company as "Agency Auth In Process." This milestone signals that the Montreal-based firm is nearing federal compliance for its Elite supply chain platform.

This designation marks a critical step for the company as it seeks to handle sensitive data for government and healthcare operations. The Class C certification, formerly known as Moderate, is designed for systems where unauthorized access or data loss would result in serious consequences. By aligning its infrastructure with these federal security standards, Tecsys aims to deepen its footprint within highly regulated public sector environments.

Peter Brereton, President and CEO of Tecsys, stated that the move reflects the company’s broader commitment to security and operational discipline. The listing on the FedRAMP Marketplace now allows federal procurement teams to track the platform's progress toward full authorization. Once certified, the Elite platform will provide government agencies with enhanced real-time visibility into medical and operational supply chains, bolstering resilience for mission-critical workflows. Tecsys currently supports over 1,000 sites globally, including major health systems like Texas Children's Hospital and Intermountain Health.
