The Advisory Forum, established under Article 67 of the EU AI Act, serves as the primary link between the EU AI Office and industry stakeholders. EcoVadis joins a cohort of 174 members tasked with guiding the implementation of the world’s first comprehensive AI regulation. For the company, this appointment provides a direct channel to shape the standards governing sustainable supply chain intelligence.

Sophia Katrenko, VP of AI/ML at EcoVadis, noted that the forum offers a platform to champion transparency and explainability in artificial intelligence. The organization plans to leverage its experience in supply chain governance to influence how businesses approach compliance, data ethics, and product deployment. This appointment formalizes the company’s transition from a passive adopter of EU standards to an active participant in policy development.
