Sarah Dow steps into a newly defined role at Coutts, leading digital asset strategy for the bank’s Private Banking and Wealth Management division. Her mandate covers the development of new propositions across lending and investments, bridging the gap between traditional banking and the evolving digital finance sector. Alison Graham, executive director at Coutts, noted that the appointment signals a strategic move to address growing client demand for clear guidance in the digital space.

In London, Paris-based Carmignac has hired Frederic Jeanmaire to bolster its investment team. Effective August 3, 2026, Jeanmaire will co-manage several European equity strategies, including the Carmignac Portfolio Grande Europe. He brings two decades of experience, having previously managed €3.9 billion in assets at Columbia Threadneedle. His arrival aligns with the firm’s broader strategy of recruiting high-conviction active managers to reinforce its European equity capabilities.

Meanwhile, Cazenove Capital has appointed Jamie Stafford as business development director for the South of England. Reporting to Simon Cooper, head of Discretionary Fund Management, Stafford is tasked with deepening relationships with intermediary partners. He joins from Liontrust Asset Management, bringing a background that includes senior roles at Architas and AXA UK, as well as an MBA from Imperial Business School.
