Microsoft and HUMAIN Partner to Scale Arabic AI in the Middle East
In a strategic move to accelerate artificial intelligence adoption across the Middle East, Microsoft and HUMAIN have announced a long-term collaboration. The partnership centers on integrating HUMAIN’s ALLAM Arabic language models into Microsoft’s AI ecosystem while deploying joint engineering teams to assist regional organizations with large-scale implementation.
Beyond software integration, the companies are launching a co-engineering model featuring Forward Deployed Engineers. These specialists will work on-site with customers to identify high-value use cases and manage the technical complexities of production-scale AI. Tareq Amin, CEO of HUMAIN, described the move as a foundation for broader capabilities that will be showcased at the upcoming LEAP event. Microsoft President Brad Smith noted that the collaboration prioritizes security and governance, ensuring that AI solutions meet the specific regulatory needs of the public and private sectors in Saudi Arabia and the wider region.
