Current, a rapidly expanding accounting entity, initiated the search for a strategic partner to replace fragmented legacy tools with a unified digital foundation. The selection process prioritized open architecture and the capacity for large-scale automation without sacrificing profit margins. Aiwyn emerged as the choice to integrate across Current’s existing ecosystem, providing tools for complex billing, engagement workflows, and client-lifecycle management.

Steve Stagner, CEO of Current, emphasized that the collaboration is designed to provide partner firms with the technical agility required to compete with large-scale incumbents. By integrating Aiwyn’s portal, Current plans to streamline project scoping, pricing, and client onboarding. Tucker Haas, the company’s Chief Technology Officer, noted that the platform’s extensible infrastructure is critical for long-term innovation and the integration of future AI-enabled workflows.

For Aiwyn, the deal represents a significant expansion of its role in the accounting sector. CEO Justin Adams stated that the platform will support Current’s growth while allowing individual firms to retain their local leadership and entrepreneurial focus. The partnership is expected to accelerate cash flow and improve administrative efficiency across Current’s 2,000-employee network, positioning the firm to deliver services comparable to Fortune 500 standards.
