The 17.7% year-over-year revenue climb reflects resilient travel demand and a strategic focus on network efficiency across 370 routes. Passenger revenue contributed $2.1 billion to the total, while cargo operations saw a 16% volume increase, generating $448 million. To offset elevated fuel expenses, the group recovered 49% of cost hikes through hedging and capacity management, alongside $145 million captured from synergies and internal savings.
CEO Adrian Neuhauser emphasized that a liquidity position of $2.06 billion provides the necessary flexibility to sustain growth despite macroeconomic headwinds. The group is currently integrating its regional footprint, having secured regulatory approvals in Brazil, Chile, and Peru for the Sky Airline transaction. Simultaneously, new interline agreements with Air Canada and Etihad Airways are set to extend the group's reach into Asian and Middle Eastern markets.
