Deckorators Launches Build It Forward Initiative in Nashville
Eighty contractors are descending on Nashville this October to construct custom outdoor living spaces for local families in need. The four-day Build It Forward initiative, spearheaded by composite decking brand Deckorators, pairs skilled professionals with the nonprofit Rebuilding Together Nashville to revitalize residential properties.
Michelle Hendricks, director of marketing at Deckorators, emphasized that the project reflects the brand's commitment to community resilience. For Rebuilding Together Nashville, which has spent three decades focusing on critical home repairs and disaster recovery, the partnership offers a boost to their neighborhood revitalization efforts. CEO Andrea Prince noted that the work allows families to remain safely in their homes, supported by the labor of skilled tradespeople. The project culminates on October 21 with a community event at Cannery Hall featuring live performances.
