Managing £21.7 billion in funds, Brooks Macdonald identified a persistent friction point in the advisory sector: while firms can easily construct investment propositions, rolling them out across a client base remains a slow, manual burden. The integration of Woven’s technology allows advisors to assess an entire book against customer identification requirements in a fraction of the time currently required for a small handful of accounts.
Brooks Macdonald Taps Woven Advice to Streamline Advisor Workflows
UK wealth manager Brooks Macdonald is partnering with infrastructure firm Woven Advice to digitize the way international financial advisors manage client books. By centralizing disparate platform and investment data, the collaboration aims to replace labor-intensive manual processes with automated suitability reporting and accelerated client reviews.

The solution was engineered with direct input from Brooks Financial, where staff helped shape how the software handles specific client-by-client recommendations. Beyond administrative speed, the partnership focuses on reducing the cost burden on clients by automating platform and investment switching. CEO Andrea Montague noted that the move enhances service capabilities while preserving the firm's advisor-led philosophy. Nicky Sevel, CEO of Woven Advice, added that the platform addresses the industry-wide issue of fragmented data, which often results in inefficient, high-cost service models for end clients.
