360factors Adds Fair Lending Compliance Agent to Ask Kaia Platform

Financial institutions face mounting pressure to identify discriminatory lending patterns, a task traditionally buried in manual spreadsheet analysis. Austin-based 360factors is now automating this regulatory burden, launching a dedicated Fair Lending Compliance Testing agent within its Ask Kaia AI platform to generate exam-ready workpapers for U.S. banks.

The new tool targets the complexity of detecting bias, which often remains hidden until thousands of loan records are cross-referenced against borrower segments, geographic data, and pricing benchmarks. By uploading Loan Application Register (LAR) files and supporting documentation, compliance teams can bypass hours of manual data extraction. The agent produces a dashboard that visualizes potential disparities and compiles evidence required for regulatory audits.

Chris Duden, CTO of 360factors, noted that the platform replaces the blank-spreadsheet approach with an on-demand workflow. The agent functions as the third expansion of the Ask Kaia framework, following recent additions for HMDA compliance and marketing ad reviews. It is currently available as an add-on for existing enterprise clients looking to reduce reliance on external consulting for routine risk assessments.
